Orlando: 3 days in Orlando

I moved around the city mainly using the public transportation which is the LYNX bus service and the free Lymmo bus service downtown. The fare for a single journey, plus transfer, was $2.

Day 1: Relaxation

@littlemisshappyfeet

Lake Eola
@littlemisshappyfeet
This is a lake located within Lake Eola Park in Downtown Orlando. The lake is famous for its fountain and a variety of birds. I had a good time leisurely strolling the sidewalk surrounding the lake, bird-watching and people watching.

RELAX Grill
my lunch + day special Brownies.
I adore this casual lakeside grill house. Great service, food and atmosphere. Situated by the calming lake, it is fun to sit on the patio enjoying lunch with a view.

International Drive

The i-Drive is a wonderful stretch of street with endless plethora of entertainment and meal option. From Orlando eye to Wonderworks to Madame Tussaud's, this place definitely represents Orlando at it's best and deserve a 1-2 days trip itself.

Day 2: Theme park

When we were deciding on which theme park/ day resort are we gonna spend time in, we came down to the final 2: Disney World or Discovery Cove. As I've been to Disney, and theme parks in general do not impress me, that was not a tough decision to make. Furthermore, the reservation to Discovery Cove also includes a 14-days unlimited access to SeaWorld and Aquatica Orlando (and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay if you choose one of the ultimate packages), so here we are!

@littlemisshappyfeet
SeaWorld Adventure Park Orlando

Highlights:
The Shamu show (Killer Whales),
One world (Dolphin and acrobatic show)
Thrilling rides: Kraken and Mantee (without long crazy queues)
Milder ride: Atlantic (penguins)
Wildlife Interaction

Aquatica
Highlights:
Ihu's Breakaway Falls (The newly installed drop slide! Tips: take the purple slide, don't ask me why.)
Taumata Racer (a high-speed competitive mat ride ripping down a staggeringly steep hill, head first.)
Dolphin Plunge ( You will slide through a transparent tube, right pass the Commerson's Dolphins' tank. )

Day 3: Day Resort

@littlemisshappyfeet
Discovery Cove
The Discovery Cove came under "Splurge" in this trip, but it was worth it. Discovery Cove is an all inclusive day resort. Meaning to say that all meals, snacks, drinks, cocktails, gear, wet suit and activities are included once you check in.The use of lockers, wet suit, towels and mask were all included in the admission. It did not get crowded at all in the Discovery Cove although it was "high-season" in summer. The daily capacity of the resort is capped at 1,200 people so that all guests can enjoy their time here at a relaxed pace.
