Tokyo Year End Trip: Free Itinerary sharing for blog readers and followers

       A lot of my blog readers expressed interest of visiting Tokyo end of this year. So, this Tokyo Year End Trip itinerary Blogpost is inspired by a IG follower's enquiry, especially suitable for family travel (Tokyo with kids).   
       However, I would like to remind everyone that this post is just a draft/ guidance for you to plan your own Tokyo trip. There is still a lot of details to figure out. So I hope this Tokyo Year End Trip itinerary post serve as a good start!

25/12/19 Tokyo (Arrival day/ Free day)

Airport transfer RM49-81
Recommend: Airport limousine bus:

Check in Hotel Shinjuku Price (RM1000) RM330 per person

Walk around Shinjuku (to check out Christmas lights) 

Robot Restaurant RM199 7.30pm 
Visit teamLab Borderless RM123 (Holidays open until 9pm)

26/12/19 Tokyo Classic Route

1 day tour with Lunch RM 463

  • Time: 8:30am
  • Meet in front of bell desk at the entrance hall of Tokyo Shinjuku Price Hotel
9:00am departure from 'LOVE' statue at Shinjuku
9:20am-10:15am Meiji Jingu Shito Shrine
10:40am-11:20am Imperial Palace
11:50am-12:40pm Asakusa: Senso-ji temple, Nakamise Shopping avenue and Kaminari-mon Gate
1:15pm Tokyo Morning Tour ends; head back to Tokyo Station
1:00pm-2:00pm Japanese-style lunch ('Chanko' hotpot, Chicken Karaage, Salad, and Rice)
2:15pm-3:55pm Tokyo Sky Tree & Sora-machi Shopping Mall
4:55pm-5:15pm Tokyo Bay Cruise
5:45pm tour ends at Tokyo Station
6:15pm tour ends at Shinjuku Station

Mount Fuji Classic Tour: Oshino Hakkai, Gotemba Premium Outlets, and Matcha Experience RM199
8:00am meet up at Shinjuku Prince Hotel counter (1st floor)
8:10am depart
10:00am arrive at Fujisan World Heritage Center North Hall
11:30am Matcha Experience and have free time at Lake Kawaguchi
1:30pm arrive at Oshino Hakkai
3:00pm Gotemba Premium Outlets
7:00pm end of tour at Shinjuku station west exit

29/12/19 Harajuku and the popular cafes 

Harajuku half day tour RM230:  

  • 11:00am meet up with guide at the HIS Tourist Information Center
  • 11:10am visit Takeshita Street
  • 11:45am visit and take a short break at Reissue Café Latte
  • 12:20pm photo time by the NOW IS FOREVER wall art and at Princess One Spoon
  • 12:40pm visit the Onitsuka Tiger OMOTESANDO branch
  • 12:50pm visit the Owl Café
  • 1:30pm visit the LINE FRIENDS flagship store
  • 1:45pm return to HIS Tourist Information Center (end of tour; there is also a prayer space that you can use and the package covers it)

Ghibli Museum, Hotel Gajoen Tokyo and Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum Tour RM518

  • 9:50am meet up at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo's Main Tower
  • 10:45am-12:00pm Hotel Gajoen Tokyo (75 minutes)
  • 1:00pm-2:00pm Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, Jindaiji Temple or Takahata Fudoson Temple (60 minutes)
  • 3:00pm-5:30pm Ghibli Museum (150 minutes)
  • 6:15pm-6:30pm drop off near Shinjuku Station
