DUBLIN: ST. STEPHEN GREEN

Located at the Top of Grafton Street is a beautiful city center public park: the "St Stephen Green". The Fusilier's Arch marks the main entrance into St. Stephen's Green. Once you are within its wall, Forget about the city! You are now in an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life. 

DUBLIN: GRAFTON STREET

Sandwitched between St.Stephen Green and Trinity College, is the forever EcLEcTic Grafton Street! The street is always buzzing with energy, arguably the most popular shopping location in Dublin.

DUBLIN: O'NEILL'S BAR AND RESTAURANT

When I first reached Dublin, I was thrilled to meet my friends studying in Dublin for Dinner. It was Raymond who suggested the O’Neill’s Bar over a phone call. Best decision EVER.

DUBLIN: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE

This is rather an expensive attraction. However, the Guinness Storehouse is so iconic it is almost synonymous with Ireland, therefore, “no trip to Dublin is complete without visiting the Guinness Storehouse” and so they said.  

MY TOP 10 FAVORITE PLACES IN DUBLIN

Dublin is a compact capital where everything is so near to each other, perfect to explore on foot. Even if you don’t like the idea of walking, a convenient public transport network takes you almost wherever you wish to go, OR you easily explore Dublin on bike since the streets are relatively flat unlike some other Europe countries.

DUBLIN: Trinity College

Just a stone throw away from St. Stephen Green lies the Trinity College. It is the oldest university in Ireland, founded by England’s Queen Elizabeth I in 1592.

DUBLIN: ST. PATRICK'S CATHEDRAL

Built between 1220 and 1260, this building left from the Medieval city of Dublin is the national cathedral of the Irish Church. This is the largest church in Ireland, built in honour of Ireland’s patron saint, St Patrick’s, who used to baptized converts to Christianity in 1191. The writer and satirist, Jonathan Swift was the Dean of Saint Patrick's from 1713 – 1745.

DUBLIN: DUBLIN CASTLE AND CHEASTER BEATTY LIBRARY

Dublin Castle was formerly the center of Administration during 700 years of British rule in Ireland. Today, the castle is a popular venue for ceremonial occasions, exhibitions, and concerts.

DUBLIN: KILMAINHAM GAOL

Located in Kilmainham, Dublin, this forbidding gaol (jail) was in used to imprison and execute the leaders of 1916 rebels. It is now a museum run by the Office of Public Works, an agency of the Government of Ireland.
