Las Vegas: 30 Experiences other than Poker.

Most attractions in Las Vegas are "hidden" inside the many hotels on the Strip, while some like the Fermont street are few miles away from the "Strip". This is a rough guide to "Las Vegas" I created before my trip:

1. Mirage

Highlights: Aquarium, Dolphin Habitat, Volcano fire show
Volcano fire show is one of my favorite sight on the Strip. The hourly show is run from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

2. Linq
Highlights: The High Roller, Auto Collective
Towering the city of Las Vegas, this High Roller Ride will send you to the top of Sin-city for a spectacular view of all the neon lights! Tips: Buy a drink and take it on the ride. If you are a car buff, step back into the past in Auto Collective to see cool historical cars, or if you have the means, buy one!

3. Circus Circus,
Highlight: Adventuredome, free circus show above the casino.
The Adventuredome is USA's largest indoor theme park. However, ride tickets don't come cheap. If you are on a budget, a free world-class circus show will certainly bring out the kid in you too, at no cost!

4. Luxor
Highlight: Bodies Exhibition, Titanic
BODIES exhibition is the place to go if you re looking for a whole new experience involving organs and human system. Take your over-weight friends here to show them a few reasons to start exercising. The exhibition illustrates damage caused to organs by over-eating and a few more bad lifestyles.

5. Bellagio

Highlights: Botanical Gardens, Fountain Show, Gallery of Fine Art
I managed to catch the last fountain light show featuring USA National Anthem "The Star-Spangled Banner". I found myself returning to the Bellagio for more.
The botanical Gardens offers a leisure, calming free walk with countless surprises through anytime of year. It gets even better if you visit during holidays season: Christmas, Chinese New Year.

6. Caesar's Palace
Highlights: Talking statues, the Colosseum
In "Fall of Atlantis" show's, statues will be talking to each other. Even if you find this creepy, Caesar Palace is arguably the most beautiful hotel on the Strip. Come for the photos opportunities!

7. New York New York

For $16, experience various types of fish, sea creatures and Sharks swimming all around you in a tunnel.

9. Paris Las Vegas
Highlights: Eiffel Tower Experience
I assume that you are going to watch a show in Vegas. and I also assume that you will want a half-priced ticket so you will start queuing up at the ticket booth as soon as it opens! If that is exacty what you will do, buy a Eiffel Tower Experience for a discounted price too! Or, simply get your tickets at the Paris Vegas hotel. Tips: go at night.

10. Stratosphere

Highlights: Revolving Restaurant, the View, The Insanity, X-Scream, Big Shot

The lobby of the hotel itself is impressive with a contemporary setting. The art display in the Gallery will not disappoint you either!
