DUBLIN: DUBLIN CASTLE AND CHEASTER BEATTY LIBRARY

Dublin Castle was formerly the center of Administration during 700 years of British rule in Ireland. Today, the castle is a popular venue for ceremonial occasions, exhibitions, and concerts.

The Chester Beatty Library is located within the Castle and it is worth a visit to browse through some of the most impressive collections of Oriental art in the world. Admission to the Chester Beatty Library is free.

Opening Hours:
Dublin Castle: Monday-Friday 10am-4.45pm,
                        Saturday-Sunday 2pm-4.45pm 
Chester Beatty Library: Monday-Friday 10am-5pm March-October,
                                       Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm November-February (Closes on Monday), 
                                       Saturday 11am-5pm, Sunday 1pm-5pm
Closed 1 January; Good Friday; 24, 25 and 26 December.
